• Our Trip to The Aruba Marriott

Hey everyone happy Sunday!  You probably saw on Instagram or in this post that we were in Aruba last week.  We stayed at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino and it was amazing.  I wanted to share a little bit about our trip.

It was Chloe’s first trip and first time on an airplane.  Of course I was a nervous wreck about everything so we planned a short three night stay just to be safe!  She was so good so hopefully there will be more trips in the near future.

Every morning, there were plenty of palapas for our family to reserve.  It was the perfect place for Chloe to stay safe from the hot Aruba sun.  She played with her buckets and shovels there for hours.

During our stay we were treated to the Marriott’s Governors Suite.  The suite had 180 degrees of oceanfront views and plenty of space for our family.  There were two incredibly large bathrooms and a master bedroom that makes you want to move right in.  I would highly recommend the Governors Suite if you want the most the resort has to offer.

There is a family pool and then a separate pool for adults only.  Chloe had the best time splashing in the pool every day and she even made a friend.  Dane and I of course loved the swim up bar!

Any resort that has a Starbucks in the lobby is where I want to stay!  We would grab our venti Americano’s (and Chloe’s tall ice water) and head out to start the day on the beach.  It doesn’t get better than that.

Below was the view from our balcony in the Governors Suite.

I know Aruba is known for restaurants and food like no other island.  We were given so many recommendations for places to eat.  But since it was such a short stay (and Chloe goes to bed early) we stayed at the resort.  There is a perfect little lunch spot right off the beach La Vista.  We would sit outside and grab a quick lunch there, it was easy and delicious.  We also had dinner at the lobby bar, the sushi was delicious and Chloe was able to have pizza.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.  I would highly recommend the Aruba Marriott to anyone heading to Aruba and we will definitely be returning!

Hope you all have a great day, thanks for stopping by.

  1. This is so great to see! My fiance and I are going to Aruba in October for my honeymoon and staying at the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino too! Do you have any additional tips or advice before we go? You said you only ate at the resort, but that you got recommendations for other restaurants. Could you share some of those?
