Hi everyone! I’m finally getting around to sharing our kitchen with you. We renovated it about a year ago and it’s my favorite room in the house. Of course it’s the room I spend the most time time in and it’s open to the family room.
The two most asked questions I get are what color are my walls and what are my countertops, so I’ll start with those first. Our whole house is the same color and it’s “Natural Grey” from Behr. Our countertops are fantasy brown quartzite.

I use this to clean the countertops but honestly the fantasy brown is amazing and shows NOTHING! So you don’t have to polish them often at all.
This is our farm sink and I absolutely love it! It’s amazing having a huge sink that can hide dirty dishes 😉
I found the runner at Home Goods but Target has a ton of cute ones. All of our appliances are Thermador, the range, hood, refrigerator and dishwasher.
I’ve actually gotten a lot of questions about this microwave and it’s actually a Bosch Speed Oven. I highly recommend this!!! It’s a microwave/convection oven and it’s basically the only appliance I use. I was nervous to have this so low with Chloe being so young but the outside never gets hot. It must have a cooling fan somewhere, it’s genius! I also lock the panel so even if Chloe tries to touch the buttons nothing happens.
We had this table custom built because everything I found online was too big for the small area we had. This is what the base of our table looks like and I love it. Also this is the clock on the wall in the family room.
I use this to clean all the stainless steel appliances.
You’ve probably seen my coffee corner/wet bar area before on Instagram. The absolute best feature here is the instant hot faucet! It gives filtered hot or cold water and I don’t know how I used to live without one haha!
I love the design of the kitchen and the way everything flows and is so open. I wouldn’t change a thing. On each side of the refrigerator we have two large pantries with pull out drawers and they’re perfect for storage.

Fantasy Brown marble, Thermador everything except KitchenAid double oven, Fireclay farmhouse sink, white custom cabinets. We’re going with a lighter brown LVP. We have a dog : )
Curious your thoughts on the Thermador product line? You’ve had them two years now. How they holding up? We are installing a 36 inch range, built in refer, dishwasher, and masterpiece hood. We can’t justify $9000 for the wall ovens (low expected reliability). Going with KitchenAid for 1/3 the price.
How does your countertop holding up?
I’m VERY happy with our Thermador appliances. Couldn’t ask for better appliances! And the same goes for our fantasy brown counters.. amazing! They’re easy to maintain and literally show nothing. I have to remind myself to wipe them down because they just always look clean haha!
Love your kitchen! Did you custom build your island? If so, how? Or where was it purchased? Also, the microwave placement is genius. My kitchen looks similar in layout 🙂

Do you know what the dimensions of your kitchen are? I have a u shaped kitchen as well but we have a peninsula but I want an island just not sure if it would fit. Thanks!

How do you like the glass cabinets lining the top? I love the look of them and am debating including them in my kitchen design but wondering how practical they are — do you plan to display anything there eventually? Obsessed with your design!!
Thank you! I love the glass cabinets but they are basically just for looks LOL! I will eventually display things in them I’m just not sure what yet.

Hi! They’re real wood, they are oak and we had them stained 80% Jacobean 20% ebony!
Where did you get your backsplash?
A local tile store, they are white subway tiles you can get them at any tile store.

We designed it ourselves! You can always add one in they’re super easy to install.
