Chloe’s First Birthday

Hi everyone!  Today is Chloe’s First Birthday!  I honestly can’t even believe it, that was the fastest year of my life!  Yesterday we had a little family party at our house and I wanted to share that with you today.

One of the few moments Chloe was sitting still on her favorite chair.  You can hardly see her cute little outfit but this is what she’s wearing.

Chloe loves owls and so of course her birthday had to be an owl theme.  I ordered this party pack from Etsy and decorated a little table in the kitchen with some Target dollar spot finds 😉  Simple and easy!

I came across this cake on Pinterest months ago and I had to have it!!  I brought the picture to Benkert’s Bakery and they did an amazing job on it.  I couldn’t be happier, if you live on Long Island you need to check them out.  Not only was this cake the cutest I’ve ever seen but it was delicious!

When Chloe woke up from her nap we had just picked up the cake.  She was so excited about the owl! Hehe!  Seriously she was screaming and waiving at it and couldn’t stop staring.  The girl loves her owls and waives at everything.

This was Chloe’s first time having sugar/dessert and honestly she didn’t like it at all.  She grabbed it and took a bite then made a face and wouldn’t touch it again.  We tried feeding it to her but she actually said “yuck” haha!  So I gave her strawberries (her favorite) and she was happy as can be.
