Hi everyone!  I had to share this amazing little hard boiled egg maker I just picked up from Walmart.  It makes the most perfect hard boiled eggs every time and it’s only $13!!   I don’t know why but I’ve never been able to make a good hard boiled egg.  I know how but they just never came out great.  I love hard boiled eggs especially in a salad and I was buying the pre-made ones but that can get expensive.  I was so excited to find this and it’s only $13.  I’m not huge into having too many gadgets but this is tiny and easy to store!!

Dane and I have been trying to eat better (he even switched to not eating meat!!!) and I find prepping these mason jar salads for the week forces me to eat better.  If it’s already made I have no excuse not to eat it 😉 They make the perfect lunch to grab and go to work too!  You can find a ton of mason jars HERE.

I also wanted to add a few brighter details for Spring in my kitchen and found this utensil holder and white knife set, it may seem silly but it makes a huge difference.  You can find a ton of home decor all under $30 HERE from Walmart!  Linking some of my favorites below…

Mason Jar Salad Recipe:

1/2 lemon (juiced)

4 teaspoons olive oil

salt + pepper to taste

1/2 avocado (cut into chunks)

1/2 cup cooked lentils (I bought pre made)

1/2 cup cooked quinoa

6 grape tomatoes (cut in half)

2 cups salad (I like Spring Mix)

2 hard boiled eggs

Mix lemon juice, olive oil, salt + pepper in a bowl and divide between two mason jars.  When layering in the mason jars place the avocado next (the lemon juice will keep it from turning brown for up to two days), then add lentils, quinoa, tomatoes, salad and eggs.

So easy and great to grab and go!

Hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love this idea! Definitely need to try it. Especially because I know my 8 year old daughter will love it. She adores salads.
Hope you’ll share more Mason jar salad ideas!
