Happy Monday everyone! Today I need to share with you one of the biggest “helpers” in my life (besides my husband) since having Chloe…Owlet!
My husband and I decided that from day one we would have Chloe sleep in her crib. Some people thought we were crazy but Chloe’s room is directly across from ours which made feedings pretty easy. We also have a great monitor that allows us to watch her while she sleeps but that wasn’t enough for me. I want Chloe to sleep soundly but as a first time mom when she is sleeping soundly I find myself questioning “is she ok?” “is she breathing?”
That’s where Owlet comes in! All I have to do is put the smart sock on Chloe’s left foot and it uses pulse oximetry (like hospitals) to monitor heart rate and oxygen levels. Connected with an app on my phone it is designed to alert me if oxygen levels or heart rate fall outside of range! How amazing is that?! It gives me peace of mind when I watch Chloe sleep soundly that she is in fact sleeping soundly lol!!
I came across this on another blog and knew I needed to try it immediately! I’m SO glad I did and I thought I would share this with any other new moms out there looking for peace of mind!
xo, Jenn

We own one, I think it’s fantastic! It gives us peace of mind! My baby was in the NICU for 7 days and the owlet allows us to rest and know she’s ok ?
I’m a first time mom too, due in a few months. Have been considering the Owlet monitor but in my experience babies kick socks off too easily. Have you had issues with that?
