Happy Friday everyone!!! Today I wanted to share with you my current favorite makeup routine!  I usually don’t like to spend a lot of time putting on makeup.  I also don’t like looking like I’m wearing a ton of makeup!  Am I the only one? lol I want to look natural but with flawless skin 😉  I’ve added a few new products to my collection and I wanted to share them with you.

fall-beauty-routine

I recently started using this CC cream and I’m obsessed  with it!  I told everyone I know they need to start using it immediately!  Seriously!  It gives you full coverage but feels like there’s hardly anything on your face at all!  I also forgot to include this in the picture but I live by that under eye concealer!  Some days I even use it as a shadow primer.

I use this Kabuki brush to apply my CC cream.  I purchased this brush during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and it came with this cleaning mat!  Unfortunately they don’t come together anymore but that is a great mat to clean all your brushes!

smashbox-contour-palette

I love this contour palette.  It’s so easy it even has a diagram of what goes where and comes with a brush! For some reason contouring always intimated me but this palette made it so easy! What was I afraid of? 😉

If you weren’t lucky enough to grab this palette during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale its okay!!  There are only 2 things from this that are must haves!  And luckily you can buy them as separates.  This blush in “orgasm” and this highlighter in “albatross”  Seriously that blush color is perfect!  I know the highlighter looks white in the palette but it goes on shimmery and is my favorite to highlight on my forehead and chin. I don’t like to use this shimmery one under my eyes, I prefer to use the one in my contour palette for that.

After I use my CC cream, bronzer, highlighter and blush I use this $8 oval makeup brush to blend everything together.  I know that a lot of people use this expensive version but since I only use it to blend at the end, $8 is good enough for me!

fall-eye-shadow

I just started using this new eyeshadow palette for Fall!  The colors are gorgeous!!!  They look amazing with all the olive green I’ve been wearing!  Another palette I just purchased for Fall is this one that I mentioned in Wednesday’s post.  I’m excited to try that out!  You can’t go wrong with any MAC palette in my opinion.  They have the best eye shadows!

A few other items I want to point out quickly:

Benefit Gimme Brow – I have dark, thick eyebrows!  They don’t need any help getting darker or thicker but what they do need is control from sticking up and out all over the place lol!  That’s what I use this gel for, just to hold them in place.  As you can tell this has lasted me a while because mine still has the old packaging!

Diorshow Primer – I just got this as a free sample when I purchased this shadow.  After using it once I went and ordered the full size!  It really works!!  I just use it before my mascara and my eyelashes have never looked better!

CoverGirl Eyeliner – I have other eyeliners, Stila, Bobbi Brown and MAC but for some reason I always go to my favorite drugstore eyeliner since high school.  It lasts all day and is definitely my favorite!

essie-gel-polish

I’ve saved the best for last!  If you try nothing else from this post you have to try the new essie gel couture nail polish!  It is amazinggggg!!!!  It’s like every other nail polish brand came out with a “gel” but they just couldn’t get it right.  And Essie waited and waited until they had the perfect formula.  Seriously, even the brush is perfect!  You have to try it!  The colors I have are “Fairy Tailor” and “Bubbles Only”  The Fairy Tailor is a perfect light pink I highly suggest it for everyday!!  I picked these up at my local Target and this was the only dark red they had but the color I’m really wanting is “spiked with style”

Hope you liked this post!!  If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!! Have a great weekend everyone!

xo, Jenn

  1. Hi! Love your posts and site! Question for you about the Essie gel polish – how long does it last after you apply? And does it come off with regular polish remover? I’m a mom too so I’m always looking for long lasting nail polish! Thanks!
