Happy Friday friends!! For this weeks Friday favorites I had to share my new T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand. One of the questions I always get asked is what do I use to curl my hair. I’ve always used an old cheap wand from Target and I’ve mentioned that many times. I was somewhat happy with it but had always wanted to try the T3.
What in the world was I waiting for?!?! The T3 Whirl Trio is worth every penny. Just like when I told you about the straightening iron it heats up in seconds! It literally takes me 10 minutes to curl my hair and the best part is that the curls last!! I’ve never had that before without using a ton of products.
My favorite thing about the Whirl Trio is that you get three different barrels that are very easy to change. I’ve always been curious about what types of curls each barrel would give my hair.
In case you’re curious too below I’ll show you each barrel and what the curl looks like…
First I tried the 1.5″ barrel and you can see below that it gives a really loose wave. I love this type of wave on long hair but if your hair is short this barrel won’t really give any curl, it’s too big.
Next I tried the 1″ barrel and I have to say this curl is my favorite!! It gives a tighter curl than the 1.5″ and if you brush it out gives a gorgeous wave!
The last barrel I tried is the tapered barrel. This gives a more tousled beach wave look which I love. Especially in the Summer. For reference the old wand I used was the same size tapered barrel.
I finished curling my hair with the larger barrel so you can see the really loose waves!

Hey very nice blog!
I have thick curly hair I blow dry straight. It’s cut in a bob just hitting top of my shoulders. What size barrel would you recommend? I love the tousled loose wave but have trouble doing it myself. Thanks!
You can use the 1″ and then brush it out for a loose wave or the tapered barrel would be great for a tousled look! The best thing about this wand is it comes with all three barrels!
